Who does this guy think he is?
I think I’m a contradiction (not that you asked).
As Whitman once said, and as I have said many times since, "I contain multitudes."
Against my better schooling,
I start sentences with prepositions.
I hate onions and use them in all my recipes.
I subscribe to Apple Music and Spotify and listen exclusively to an old iPod.
I'm an organized mess.
I’m an artist in a thinker’s profession.
I’m a thinker professing to be an artist, perhaps thinking too much of it all.
I think therefore I am,
yet my thoughts are fleeting
and still, I am here.
I'm a builder who carries dynamite and a match. I get hired to build things, but I often break other things (sorry, no refunds).
Luckily, there’s a lot more value in how I think than in what I think brands thought they were thinking they were gonna get from my “thinky” output.
My success is grounded in defiance and experience.
So are my failures.
(greatest strength = biggest weakness and all that)
I think I’m a contradiction. I think there’s little safety in that. I think there’s little safety in most of what we think. I think the biggest threat to safety is thinking in safe ways. I think the future demands contrarians and deviants. I think crypt keepers of the past pass as senior middle managers maintaining moral mazes.
I don’t think I’m that. I think I’m a contradiction.
I think I’m done writing.
I think you get the picture.I do brand strategy, business transformation, growth marketing, data analysis, customer insights, and lots of other useful things to help you do more with less.
Also whatever thing AI is being used for that you want to replace with human labor. I can probably do those things without hallucinating.
